Amazing don't listen to the guy under me hes a jack a@s

I bought this tank-less water heater when i purchased my new house because my previous house i also had a Rheem tank-less water heater there. If you know anything about the tank-less water heaters its that they require 3/4 inch water supply lines and gas lines. NO MATTER WHAT!!! As long as you have any common sense at all this is easy to do. If your house isn't compatible for 3/4 inch and you didn't want to change it you should known better then to purchase this water heater. Your stupidity is not on the company that sells this. It took me no time to run new 3/4 black iron pipes for the tank-less heater and no time to redo the half inch water line with 3/4 inch for the cold. The hot you can transition down to half in a little ways past the supply going out. All in all this has saved me a boat load of money compared to the electric and propane tank water heaters I previously had. I'm no professional either but it was easy to install and didn't take long and works perfect. If you look around you can find the appropriate venting for the model you bought also. My through the wall kit was about $133 to hook up the venting, through the roof was a little more pricey, but your going farther also. Its more expensive because you are using 3/5 concentric stainless steel venting. That's 3 inch sheet metal inside 5 inch. Also if that's a problem because it requires different venting you should know this if you a "step below" expert. By the way I'm 24 and probably (sorry obviously) know more then you and I'm no where near expert. Research next time before you buy and don't blame the company or unit because you didn't know better. Tank-less is far superior just cost a little more initially to hook up. So if your looking to buy and know even a little about plumbing its the way to go. If you were a "step below expert" you would've known more about tank-less so it wouldn't have been so bad. Don't mislead people because of you own idiocy. Its a great unit and saves a lot of money and works amazing.

DO NOT ORDER THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE A PLUMBING BUSINESS
By I need a cold shower
This unit will cost you over double the price you pay even if you do the work for free. No where does it mention that you have to buy only rheem parts to make this work, from the valves to the venting which are all over priced. Also i have had to re-plumb gas lines and water lines to accomidate their non-negotionable requirements for gas and water supply. Lowes, home depot, ace, no one, and believe me no one carries these parts. After two months i have finally received the final vent parts that are REQUIRED for installation. I havent even had a drop of hot water yet. I have spent hours on the phone tracking parts, techs, service reps. What a rip off, and i would rate my level one step below expert. If I add in my time, i would say it is well over 4x the cost.If you are replacing an old water heater either call a plumber and gladly pay the anal probing, or get something similar to what you had and do it yourself.
